Köthen Castle, centrally located in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, can look back on an impressive history and magnificent architecture that elevate it to a significant landmark of the region. Architects Hans Irmisch and Peter Güldenpfennig were responsible for the construction of Köthen Castle, commissioned by Duke August of Anhalt-Köthen. During its creation, the castle park was designed by renowned landscape designer Johann Jacob Terscheck.

Today, it serves as a cultural center, hosting exhibitions, concerts, and cultural events regularly.
Although Köthen Castle is not part of the UNESCO World Heritage site, it still attracts numerous tourists. They come to explore the fascinating architecture and deeply rooted history of the site.
