The Landshut Castle has been towering over the picturesque town of Bernkastel-Kues in the Rhineland-Palatinate region of Germany since the 13th century. Completed in 1277, it impresses visitors with its medieval architecture and attracts numerous visitors each year.
Although the exact architect of the castle remains unknown, historians suspect that Friedrich von Lichtenberg, the Archbishop of Trier at the time, played a significant role in its planning and construction. Today, Landshut Castle is open to tourists and houses a museum that documents the fascinating history of the castle and its surroundings. In addition to its impressive architecture, it offers an incomparable panoramic view of the picturesque Moselle landscape.
