Banz Monastery

The Benedictine monastery was once a vibrant center of spiritual life, where monks lived according to the principles of “ora et labora” (pray and work). Additionally, the monastery housed a school and a library, which still preserves an impressive collection of medieval manuscripts and books.

Today, the Banz Monastery serves not only spirituality but also the public. It houses a conference and education center and also offers accommodation in a hotel.
